To volunteer virtually, at our headquarters in Southampton, PA or at our Dream Village in Davenport, FL, complete our volunteer form.
Are you looking for online volunteer opportunities? Have you always wanted to volunteer for Sunshine Foundation in some way, but don’t live near our office in PA, our Dream Village in FL, or one of our All-Volunteer Chapters?
Follow us on your favorite social media sites and simply like, share and comment on our posts! This will help spread awareness to people who have not heard of Sunshine Foundation before!
Lend a hand in the planning and/or executions of special fundraising events, golf tournaments, yard sales, raffles, and much more. Join a committee to help plan official Sunshine Foundation events.
Create a Facebook Fundraiser on your personal page or choose a child on our Adopt A Dream page and help raise funds to make their Dream Come True! This is a great volunteer opportunity for schools, groups, companies…or a group of family members and friends! Assist staff in preparing letters, envelopes, labels for mailings, filing, answering phones, and making calls.
Help us prepare our quarterly newsletter by folding and applying seals and labels.
Our Dream Village is currently closed to the public. If you would like to be on the list to help with any of the opportunities below, please let us know and we will reach out once the Village reopens.
(Days and Hours will vary according to families arrival) – Be the friendly face, and source of information as the families arrive. Duties include- check in, orienting families through a tour, providing information, taking picture of the family.
Be “Sunnie” our mascot for events, meet and greets with the families.
Help keep the cottages inviting and safe by washing curtains, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, checking all lights and appliances.
Needed daily in the spring, summer and early fall, twice a week during late fall, winter and early spring, Garden Keepers will maintain all exterior plantings and sweep and/or hose down garden, patio and sidewalk areas.
Represent the Sunshine Foundation at civic clubs, schools and businesses, or manage a booth at events in the area; helping spread awareness about the mission and our programs of the Sunshine Foundation.
(Days and Hours will vary according to families arrival) – A friendly face to meet the families at the airport and escort to baggage claim, to get their rental and or hotel transportation.
