Chelsea Five Gastropub creates “Princess Janessa Burger”

Tropicana Atlantic City’s Chelsea Five Gastropub in New Jersey donated $1 to The Sunshine Foundation with every purchase of the August 2019 Burger of the Month to Sponsor A Dream for a local child.

The Sunshine Foundation, along with Chelsea Five Gastropub, is working concurrently to fulfill Janessa’s dream of traveling to Walt Disney World. Janessa, a 16-year-old from Pleasantville, New Jersey, was diagnosed with Down syndrome and Heart Murmur (VSD). It has been her everlasting wish to meet princesses, notably her favorite princess, Snow White. Aptly named by Janessa herself, the “Princess Janessa Burger” includes a house-signature turkey burger, mozzarella cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and mushrooms for $17. “I don’t want people to see me differently or feel sorry for me because I’m a little different,” Janessa said. “I want to dream big and feel like I can conquer the world, just with a little help.”

A $12 Patrón Reposado Margarita was also available during the month of August. For each beverage purchased, $1 was donated towards sponsoring Janessa’s dream.

Chelsea Five Gastropub is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
