Special Dreams While, Sunshine Foundation's most requested dream is a family trip to the Dream Village and the Orlando Attractions, Sunshine Foundation also receives many other requests as well. Sunshine Foundation's special dreams can be anything from a celebrity meet and greet, family trip or shopping spree. Below features some special dreams of Sunshine Foundation children! Bradley's Dream! ![]() "Bradley is a soon to be, 14 year old young man with Rubinstein-Tybi Syndrome, Bradley is non-verbal and non-ambulatory/wheelchair bound. Bradley is an audio - visual person, his life is music, Sponge Bob and anything Sprout. Now he can watch his favorite shows and DVD's while relaxing in his Fuf Chair. Bradley is an 8th grade student at the Ypsilanti Middle School here in Michigan and loves School. Bradley lives with me, his Grandmother. This wish for Bradley means everything to us, I can not express our gratitude enough. Thank you to everyone that made Bradley's wish possible. Thank you very much. I could not have made this happen for him without the help of The Sunshine Foundation." - Linda (Bradley's Grandmom) A Deck for Nick! ![]() Nick, 11, has quadriplegia from a traumatic brain injury he suffered two years ago. His mom wrote: "Nick has always loved his animals. We have a hobby farm. Until his injury, Nick loved to take care of his chickens in the yard, his pony in the pasture and his goats running around. If he could have a deck, Nick could watch them and enjoy the outdoors! We would love to be able to sit with him together as a family outside, relaxing and enjoying his farm animals. We would be so thankful for this dream for Nicolas." Sunshine Foundation provided the funds for materials and Honeywell employee, Debbie Orock volunteered to gather a group of friends and neighbors to construct the ADA accessible deck and ramp! only watch his friends play - especially when it comes to BMX biking!
Brendan's dream was to ride with his favorite BMX athlete and champion,
Dave Mirra! Dave holds the record for the most X Games Gold Medals and
is the first rider ever to pull a double back flip in competition! With
the help of Wasserman Media Group, Sunshine Foundation was able to reach
out to Dave to answer Brendan's special dream request. Brendan's mom
shared some memories of the trip to Dave's warehouse in
