PHILADELPHIA,
PA - May 23, 2011 - The annual Walk for Dreams helps support the Foundation's
mission of fulfilling dreams for chronically or seriously ill,
physically challenged and abused children ages 3 to 18. This
year's walk will help support the dreams of two children:
Avery, 14 years old and diagnosed with severe
autism, wants to swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove; and Jackson, 9 years old and
diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus, wishes to visit
Disney World.
The Sunshine Foundation has been a client of Fox for almost 35
years. Martha
(Frannie) Reilly, an attorney in the Corporate Department of Fox
Rothschild, led the charge for the firm's sponsorship and is a
member of the Foundation's Walk for Dreams Committee.
Kate Sample, president of the Sunshine
Foundation, expressed her appreciation for Fox Rothschild's
support. "We are so grateful for this incredible commitment by
Fox Rothschild to partner with the Sunshine Foundation to help
bring joy and once-in-a-life time experiences to children with
serious chronic conditions," Sample said.
The walk will begin at 10 a.m. and travel through
Tyler State Park on 101 Swamp Rd. in Newtown, PA.
Interested walkers can register as individuals, groups or teams
at www.sunshinefoundation.org. Those who wish to donate but
cannot make the event can also contribute online.
